Antique Inlaid Rosewood Marble Top Cabinet – Sideboard Chiffonier£1,250.00 + VAT
This antique rosewood chiffonier is a quality item & in good original condition. The only thing we changed was the lining behind the brass grills & I like the way my upholsterer did it with soft padding behind the fabric. This cabinet has a concave front & the doors are concave too. There are some fine brass inlays along the top section & around the doors. The side columns have gilt metal mounts top & bottom, which give the effect of Corinthian columns. The marble top is original & perfect. There is a top concaved drawer with is still lined with baize & there is a single shelf inside behind the doors. There is also a brass beading running up the door & we still have the key for the lock. The figuring on the rosewood is lovely & the colour is good too. This chiffonier is Regency in style & dates to around the 1910-20's period.

Antique Burr Walnut Bureau Bookcase£2,250.00 + VAT
Very impressive & high quality antique burr walnut bureau bookcase, dating from the 1910 period & in good original condition. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate all the amazing features. This piece is a real character item with a good original colour. It has a dome top, with two burr walnut astral-glazed doors & there are adjustable shelves inside. The burr walnut pull down slope has herring bone inlays with cross banding outside of that. The drawers also have herring bone inlays around the edges & that have the original brass handles that are naturally aged. The drawers are finely dovetailed & this bureau bookcase sits on bold bracket feet. There are two pull out loafers which support the writing slope when open. The compartment inside is magnificent, with shaped small drawers, dividers, pigeon holes & a single cupboard in the middle. I can't stress to high the quality of this item. It's a heavy piece, but does come apart into two sections. This bureau bookcase is about 100 years old & is a very good copy of an original Queen Anne piece from the 1700's.

Antique Edwardian Satin Wood Cheval Mirror£2,500.00 + VAT
Very rare & impressive large antique satinwood full length cheval mirror that dates from around the 1890-1910 period. This cheval mirror has to be the nicest example I've ever seen. I don't think you will find many of these in satinwood on the market & not of this quality. The top of the frame has the most amazing array of hand carved flowers with the 'Prince of Wales Feathers' in the centre. The finials on each side on the top are also carved out with flowers. The side supports are fluted with more carvings in the middle & at the base. There are also many more fine details on the frame like ebony inlays, decorative oval panels, carvings on the legs & more finials. The shaped mirror is naturally bevelled & the mirror frame is also inlay with ebony. This cheval mirror has the original embossed brass side fittings that will tighten up to hold the mirror at the required angle. It also sits on casters.
