Pair of Antique Swedish Leather Armchairs£2,650.00 + VAT
Very comfortable pair of antique Swedish leather armchairs dating to around the 1890-1910 period. They have curved deep buttoned backs & more buttoning below the seats. The leather is in great condition & the colour is good. These chairs are comfortable because of the curved backs & also because of their generous proportions. We just bought them over from Sweden, revived the leather & polished the feet.

Antique Swedish Burr Walnut Wellington Chest of Drawers£2,250.00 + VAT
Large stunning looking Swedish antique burr walnut Wellington chest, which is also fine quality. It dates from around the 1880's period & is in good condition. I've had quite a few of these in the past & this one is by far the nicest I've had. Please enlarge all the images, because there are many great features. The top & drawer fronts are burr walnut with wonderful veneers. The drawers have fine dovetails & brass handles. There is a locking bar on the right hand side, but we don't have a key & the other upright looks identical. both uprights have some fine carvings, especially near the tops. This chest has an interesting top section & sits on flat turned front bun feet. One thing that's not showing in the images is the 2nd drawer down has a pull down mechanism so you can slide things in & out. This chest is very impressive & fabulous quality, plus the wood has a very warm colour.

Large Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Armchairs£2,500.00 + VAT
This pair of antique Swedish satin birch upholstered armchairs have very large proportions & are extremely comfortable. The curved frames have exquisite carvings all over & please enlarge all the images to see this. They have a neo-classical design around the base of the seats & sit on finely detailed hairy paw feet. These chairs have been totally re-upholstered after being polished. They have hand coiled springs, new feather cushions & are doubled piped. The satin birch frames have a lovely silky patina. The backs are high enough to support ones head. These armchairs are a little bit special & i would date them to around the 1890-1910 period.

Leather Deep-Buttoned Stool Coffee Table£1,650.00 + VAT
Very impressive large antique Victorian style deep buttoned leather stool or coffee table with a mahogany edge & sitting on well turned mahogany legs with brass cup casters. It has been beautifully re-upholstered, then the leather was hand coloured & antiqued by a leather specialist. There are two rows of hand tacking around the edge. This is a hand made piece, plus top quality & no expense has been spared in making this item. I have had many of these made to order, so if you want a different size, we can make it, although it does take about 4 – 6 weeks to produce.

Pair of Antique Carolean Carved Walnut Upholstered Armchairs£1,500.00 + VAT
Very impressive large pair of antique Swedish Carolean style upholstered armchairs in good condition & dating from around the 1890's period. They have high backs & the upholstery is the original cut velvet which is still in good condition. These armchairs have intricate deep carving on the arms, between & on the legs, plus on the feet which are incredibly shaped & carved. There are also barley twist turnings & stretchers between the legs. The seats are fully sprung & the upholstery is hand tacked all over. The fabric is in fantastic condition, especially considering it's over 100 years old & there are no holes or tears.

Pair of antique Swedish Biedermeier armchairs in satin birch with ebonised features. They are in excellent condition, having just been French polished & re-upholstered. The seats are fully sprung & double piped on the edges. These armchairs have Trafalgar backs, swept over arms & sabre legs. The satin birch has that lovely silky finish & those typical light & dark shades. They are very fine quality & I would date them to around the 1890's period.

Antique Large Deep Buttoned Leather Stool£1,650.00 + VAT
This large antique deep buttoned leather & mahogany coffee table – stool is in stock right now. I have just had two more made, because they seem to be very popular. As usual, we can have them made to order any size or colour. They are very high quality & completely hand made. It's a three stage process which can take one to two months to produce. We make the solid mahogany frame, with turned legs & top quality solid brass casters which are also antiqued. It's then hand polished & sent to the upholsterer. There it's upholstered in deep buttoned leather & hand tacked on to the frame. Finally it's taken to our leather specialist who hand colours & antiques it to any colour you want. We normally try to keep one of these stools in the shop for whoever is able to come and inspect. We will be happy to quote you for any size you want, although the price will be much the same within a foot or so. Please always enlarge all the images to appreciate all the details & finish.

Large Victorian mahogany pedestal desk with a tooled leather writing surface & a generously wide kneehole area. It has rounded corners, graduated drawers with antique brass handles, polished panelled backs & sits on plinth bases with concealed casters. This desk is in good condition & dates from around the 1860-80 period. These original Victorian desks of this size are quite hard to find & this one is a nice example.

This antique nest of three tables has very decorative tops with Dutch Marquetry of exquisite designs. The wood is mahogany & the floral marquetry is made up of many exotic woods. This nest has quite large proportions & sits on tapered legs. I think it's English & I would date it to around the 1880-90's period. It's in excellent condition throughout & structurally sound.

Antique William IV Rosewood Chaise Lounge£1,950.00 + VAT
This antique William IV rosewood chaise lounge is a very strong looking piece of furniture & is wonderful quality. The rosewood frame is beautifully shaped & well carved in many places. The legs have that typical William IV tulip design & original brass capped casters. It's in excellent condition & structurally sound. The frame has been French polished & the old upholstery completely ripped out. So, it's been totally re-upholstered with double piping on the edges & had a bolster added too. The long cushion has all been re-upholstered too with a generous filling. This chaise dates from the 1830-40's period.
