Antique Bespoke Victorian Style Mahogany Open Bookcase
£1,150.00 + VATThis is a bespoke Victorian style mahogany open bookcase, which has been hand made by a master craftsman. Those of you who are familiar with my web site will recognize this model, because we have had many similar ones in the past in different woods & sizes. Most people just order them to their required specifications. We can have them made in any wood or any style or any size. They do take about 2-4 weeks to make & polish. If you are able, please come to the shop to view this bookcase & other models to see the quality. They all have the adjustable shelves on sharks teeth supports & the larger ones can be made to come apart. Please don't compare these bookcases to other ones out there in the market. The ones we make are better made than the original Victorian ones & they are hand French polished too. If you go to the re-constructed furniture category, you will see quite a few items we have had made or adapted in the past. We can use antique timbers in the right places to give even more character. The prices have risen a bit over the many years we have been doing these bookcases & I have struggled to keep the price under £1000, but the cost of materials & the work has now forced us a bit over that price, however they are still very reasonable for the quality of workmanship.
