Antique Swedish Biedermeier Secretaire Desk / Bureau£1,750.00 + VAT
This antique Swedish Biedermeier secrétaire is in good condition & full of character. It has many interesting features, especially the busy interior & I would date it to around the 1860's period. The wood is predominately satin birch with ebonised columns on the sides. This secrétaire has one drawer at the top & three more below the fall. The top drawer & the drop flap are inlaid around the edges. The top section has a concave shape & this piece sits on sabre legs. The satin birch has a wonderful grain & the brass handle escutcheons are original too. The inside of the writing section is stunning, with many different sized drawers & cupboards. Impressive antique French marble top cabinet with very nice decorative scenes on the doors & side panels. There are lots of fine quality gilt bronze mounts & the original marble top is in good condition. The wood is predominately Kingwood & mahogany. It's all in good original condition & is just as we obtained it straight out of a London residence. The inside is also nice with a mirrored back, some shelves & some gilt metal trimmings. The polish inside the cupboard is a little bit worn. I would date this cabinet to around the 1920's period.

Antique Burr Walnut Cocktail Drinks Cabinet£1,450.00 + VAT
This antique walnut drinks cabinet is wonderful quality & a great looking piece with some amazing details. The upper section has a well shaped top, with two burr walnut doors & figured walnut sides. The figuring one the wood is stunning & the colour is great too. It has etched brass escutcheons & hinges. The inside of this cabinet is beautifully fitted out with partitioning, shelves & mirrors. The inside is also lined with sycamore which is also polished & in great condition too. This top section can be lifted of the base for easy transportation. The base is solid walnut & is hand carved all over. Please check out the heads which are carved out on all four corners & also the hairy paw feet. No expense was spared in making this cabinet & it must have been made for an important person. It has just been French polished on the outside & is in 1st class condition. This cocktail cabinet dates from the 1920's period.

I would date this cupboard to around the 1860-80 period.

Gorgeous Antique Queen Anne Style Flame Mahogany Cocktail Cabinet£575.00 + VAT
Nice quality mahogany cocktail cabinet, with burr flame mahogany doors, good carving, etched brass escutcheons & hinges. This cabinet has a lovely interior in the top half, with a pull out mirrored slide for serving drinks on. This cabinet is antique Queen Anne style, probably made around the 1930's by Epstein & is in good condition, having just been polished. The flame mahogany veneers on this piece are exceptional quality & provide a wonderful pattern.

Very impressive antique three drawer commode, with a serpentine shaped front & full of fine marquetry. The background wood I think is walnut & the marquetry is made up of other more exotic woods. I would date it to around the 1910 period.

Very impressive Antique Swedish marble top commode chest of exceptional quality & in good original condition. It has the original rouge marble top which is in good condition & really compliments this piece. There are many different woods involved like Kingwood, rosewood, satin birch, mahogany & many other more exotic woods. There is also a lot of intricate marquetry, both classical & floral. The gilt bronze mounts & handles are well cast & excellent quality. This commode has generous proportions & is quite a statement piece. I would date it to around the 1890-1910 period. Antique Georgian Period Campaign Cellaret on Legs£1,250.00 + VAT
This antique Cellaret is an original period item of furniture made around the 1790's period & it looks like a colonial item (Anglo-Indian). It's a Campaign piece & is all original except that the inside dividers are more recent. These items were made to made to store bottles of alcoholic beverages such as wine & whisky. The construction is of solid teak with all the original brass corner fittings & inset carrying handles. It comprises of the square box section, which just sits on to of the original base. This Cellaret has a wonderful original colour & patina, both on the wood & brass work, so it's full of character. It's also a very rare item, being a campaign military piece. Also the condition is excellent for an item over 200 years old.

Antique French Burr Walnut & Marquetry Cocktail Cabinet£950.00 + VAT
Antique French style cocktail drinks cabinet with stunning burr walnut door panels & intricate floral marquetry on the top doors. The sides are also burr walnut & there are other woods on this piece, like rosewood & many exotic woods in the marquetry. This cabinet is is excellent condition & I would date it to around the 1930-50's period. The doors, drawers & the sides are all cross banded. There is also some fine carvings on the bottom front edge & on the shaped legs. The inside of the top section is lined with mirrors, plus it has a couple of shelves. There is also a light inside, which will need re-wiring for safety reasons. The bottom section has plenty of storage & would be useful for bottles, etc. This cabinet comes apart into two sections for easier transportation. The pattern the burr walnut gives of all over this drinks cabinet is wonderful.

This antique cocktail drinks cabinet is top quality throughout & burr walnut veneers on the front section give off a wonderful pattern. The sides are figured walnut & there is are fine carvings on the top & between the solid walnut legs. This cabinet has a lovely mellow warm colour & plenty of character. The top front doors have etched brass hinges & escutcheons . All the doors have canted corners too. The interior of the top half is beautifully fitted out, with sycamore veneers, glass shelves, mirrors & a pull out slide for serving drinks on. The bottom section was designed to put bottles in & there is a small drawer in there too. This cabinet is in excellent original condition, dating from around the 1930’s period.
