This is a very unusual & impressive classical gilt bust of Alexander the Great, which came out of a collection in a house in central London. It has a wonderful character & patina to the surface. I would date this bust to roughly around the 1910 period, although it could go either side of that. It's a good size & is in good condition. I believe this bust is made of some kind of composite.
