Good quality antique Georgian style figured & burr walnut desk, with a double serpentine shaped front & a polished back. It has a lovely tooled leather writing surface, one drawer in the middle & four more either side of the knee hole. One of the many good features of this piece is the fact that although this desk is quite small in proportion, it still has a generous knee hole space. The shaped drawers have top quality brass handles & the drawers are graduated too. This desk is very sturdy & sits on bracket feet. I would say it dates from around the 1930-50’s period & it’s in good condition having just been polished.
