This antique cupboard on chest has some stunning flame mahogany veneers giving it a very striking pattern especially on the front & the top also has some interesting figuring. This piece is bow fronted, with a carved top edge, two top cupboards, three graduated drawers with brass handles & sits on shaped feet. It’s in excellent condition, having just been French polished & dates from around the 1920’s period. One interesting thing about this tallboy is that there are two secret drawers behind the lower drawer. This is shown in one of the images. I’m sure this cabinet was designed for the bedroom, but these days there are no rules.
