This antique mahogany display cabinet could also be used as a bookcase, by changing the glass shelves to wood & we could arrange that quite easily. It's extremely fine quality & has some very intricate details. Please enlarge all the images to see the entire cabinet in detail. The two top edges are carved & the corners are carved all the way down to the claw & ball feet. It's also carved all along the base & even the astral-glazing which is a spectacular design has fine carvings too. There are three doors which are flame mahogany with locks. The inside is also polished & there are glass shelves, which like I mentioned could be used as a template to make mahogany shelves to hold books. This cabinet is in excellent condition & dates from around the 1910 period. It's one of the finest quality cabinets I've had & the attention to detail is amazing.
