I always find these antique leather slipper armchairs very comfortable due to the shape of the seat & back. This one has a lovely look with original deep buttoned leather, which has a great colour & loads of character. It’s hand tacked all over on to a solid mahogany frame. It’s very much Regency style, in good condition & dates to around the 1930-50’s period. The frame is very sturdy with roll over arms & stretchers between the legs. Please don’t compare this chair to the more modern, poorer quality spray polished examples on the market place.
