Antique burr maple side table or console in good condition, having just been French polished. It’s very rare to find this sort of table in this lighter wood & this one has a wonderful colour. This table has a serpentine shaped front, two drawers & sits on tapered spade end legs. The top & the drawer fronts are burr maple. The rest of the table I believe is mahogany polished light to match the burr maple colour. The inside of the drawers are lined with green felt & partitioned, which probably was done to hold cutlery. I would date this table to around the 1930-50’s period.
