This absolutely stunning display cabinet, has been in my possession for about 25 years. Unfortunately, my wife has decided to go modern, so reluctantly, I have brought it into the shop. This is one of the best examples I have seen. It’s solid rosewood, with the best quality ormulu mounts all over & has wonderfully painted scenes on the bombe base. The shaped glass is original, along with the fabric inside. It even has old lights inside, which I have never used & would obviously need rewiring. Take a good look at the images, to see all the amazing features. This cabinet is in totally original good condition, with just a bit of fade hear & there. I would say it’s late 19th century.
