Antique French style walnut card table with a serpentine shaped front & lovely decoration. It dates from around the 1950's period & is in good condition. The top is burr walnut & has a very detailed & colourful floral marquetry made up from many exotic woods. The side edges are also burr walnut with an inlaid banding. This card table has gilt bronze mounts all over, plus gilt bronze feet & beading around the top edges. The mounts are of excellent quality. The table top spins around & flips over to reveal a bailed lined playing surface. The baize is a bit marked or faded in places & could be replaced for about ?75-?100 by our upholsterer. There is also storage space underneath the table top.
