High quality antique secretaire breakfront mahogany bookcase in excellent condition & with some wonderful features. I don't know if you can see in the images, but if you enlarge you will just make out that the glass panels are all slightly curved inside the astral glazing. This bookcase has nice small proportions too. The top section has adjustable book shelves & it's all polished mahogany inside, as well as inside the two bottom cupboards. The bottom section also has drawers graduated in depth with brass handles. The top drawer pulls out to reveal a splendid secretaire section with a tooled leather writing surface, drawers & compartments. There are many other fine features, like the reeded top & middle sections, plus the inlays on the doors & drawers. This bookcase which dates from around the 1950's period separates into two sections for easier transportation.
