Very unusual antique Victorian tree hall stand with a great design & use of woods. It’s mainly oak, however the long middle section is Pollard Oak, which has a similar look to burr walnut & was favoured a lot in the Victorian period. It has an arched top, original hanging pegs & a useful glove compartment. I particularly like the gothic style umbrella holders. We have had a zinc tray made that fits in the base (the size was wrong so we are re-doing it), however the bottom compartment looks very nice as is. This stand is in excellent original condition, dating from around the 1860-80’s period & a very practicable piece of furniture.
