A beautiful antique oil painting on canvass by Gerard Wiegman (1875-1964). This is Dutch in origin, it was painted in the early twentieth century around the 1920-303’s.

It depicts a sail boat out at sea, with oil tankers leaving a harbour in the background. It is beautifully executed in the impressionist style, and is mounted in a gorgeous gilt wood frame.

The condition is excellent for its age, with only some extremely minor wear here and there.
