An excellent antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany linen press by Maple and Co. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1890-1910 period.

The quality is outstanding, this is extremely well made and is a great size with lots of storage space. The upper panelled doors have absolutely stunning floral marquetry & inlays, inside there are three deep tray slide shelves. The lower drawers retain the original brass handles and also have lovely inlaid borders. This sits on bracket feet and has a removable cornice.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is very good for its age with a few small marks and indentations, commensurate for age. This has acquired a beautiful patina over the last 120-130 years.

The cornice comes off and the upper section also lifts off the base, so this comes in three pieces for ease of transport.
