An impressive and beautiful antique Victorian linen press wardrobe in mahogany, with rounded corners & a plinth base. This was made in England & dates from the 1840-1850’s period.
It is of amazing quality, this is an incredibly useful and practical item. There is loads of storage space in the deep lower drawers, the upper section contains the original sliding trays. The cornice is beautifully moulded, the doors have lovely arched panels and there are finely turned handles on the doors and drawers.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with various small marks and indentations here and there, commensurate for age.
This breaks down easily into three pieces for ease of transport.
This particular model of linen presses especially with the rounded corners are very sort after, because it’s very compact with no wasted space. They are much harder to find than the Georgian models.
