A large and impressive antique Georgian style mahogany breakfront bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.

It is of superb quality, with fantastic proportions and lots of storage space. It sits on bracket feet with four panelled lower doors. There are four beautiful astral glazed upper doors, and stunning teardrop mouldings, beneath a dental cornice. The upper shelves are all adjustable, the inside is polished. There is also a leather topped pull out slide shelf that comes out from the centre.

We have just had this revived and polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There is just some light wear here and there and a nice patina, commensurate for age.

The top lifts off the bottom and this comes in two pieces for ease of transport.
