An excellent antique Victorian open bookcase in walnut. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of great quality and is a useful size. There is lots of storage space with three adjustable shelves. This doesn’t stick out too far so is not very imposing, and having an open front means you can still store books that are relatively deep.

The walnut grain patterns and colour tones are gorgeous throughout. We have just had this re-polished, the condition is very good for its age. There is just some minor wear beneath the polish here and there, giving it a lovely patina.
