A very smart and useful antique Victorian open bookcase in solid walnut. This was made in England, it dates from around 1870-1890.

It is of very good quality, it sits on a plinth base, with a nicely moulded solid walnut top. carved corbels and three adjustable shelves.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. there is just some minor wear here and there remaining beneath the polish, the interior has acquired a deep and charming patina.
