A smart and very well made antique Victorian walnut open bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1870-1890 period.

The quality is superb, there are beautifully carved corbels at the upper corners and lovely carved rosettes at the bottom corners. This sits on a plinth base, it has three adjustable shelves. The walnut grain patterns and colour tones and beautiful throughout.

This is in excellent condition for its age, we have had it re-polished. There is just some minor old wear here and there remaining beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
