A smart and very well made antique Victorian walnut open bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1870-1890 period.

The quality is superb, this has nicely canted front corners with three pronounced ridges running down the fronts. This sits on a plinth base, it has three adjustable shelves that rest on shark teeth supports. The walnut grain patterns and colour tones and beautiful throughout.

This is in excellent condition for its age, we have had it re-polished. There is just some minor old wear here and there remaining beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
