A wonderful original antique Edwardian revolving bookcase in mahogany, dating from around 1880-1900 period.
This is of amazing quality & is beautifully made from solid mahogany, with satin wood cross banding on the top & more satinwood inlays all over.
It swivels smoothly and rolls on original porcelain casters, this is in very good condition for its age. We have recently had it re-polished, there are just a few marks here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age. This bookstand is full of character & charm.
This revolving bookcase is a better quality model than the average similar looking model on the market place. You can certainly find them for less money, but there are normally good reasons why. Many, can be rickety & have other problems.
