Pair of antique Swedish open bookcases dating from around the 1890-1910 period in good original condition. They are decorated with some intricate inlays & many different woods. The tops are rosewood & nicely figured. There is a satinwood banding going around the tops which has other exotic woods within it. The front & side edges look like kingwood which runs all the way down to the tapered legs. Then there are repeat inlaid patterns on the sides with oval satinwood panels that have floral marquetry. There are other panels of different woods, like mahogany, walnut, tulip wood, etc. The insides shelves are fixed with two partitions underneath. These bookcases are very smart & elegant. Also, they are not a model I've seen before.
