Antique military campaign style mahogany chest of drawers with lovely slim proportions & in excellent condition having just been polished. The mahogany has a nice patination & a rich colour. There are six drawers all with sunken military brass handles & there are two more on the sides. I particularly like the way the dovetails are showing on the top. This chest also has brass corner fittings, so typical of campaign style furniture & it sits on bracket feet. I would date it to around the 1950’s period. It’s a very smart looking piece of furniture & could even be used as a filing cabinet.
