An excellent antique walnut bachelors chest of drawers in the Georgian style. This was made in England, it dates from around 1920-30.

It is of superb quality, with stunning burr walnut grain patterns. The top and drawer fronts are cross banded, this sits on bracket feet and has high quality brass hardware. The top unfolds and rests on slide out supports, this useful design is intended to give a large surface for getting ready in the morning but it also makes this very useful as a bureau / desk. There is plenty of storage space, the drawers which are graduated in depth all run smoothly and have fine hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
