A gorgeous antique French marble top bombe chest. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1910-1930 period.

It is a great size, with two generous sized drawers and high quality ormolu mounts throughout. There is parquetry inlay on the drawer fronts, the wood appears to be walnut or Kingwood. The off white marble top has a serpentine shape that compliments the design of the chest.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in lovely condition for its age. There is no real damage to be seen, just some minor age related bumps and marks beneath the polish here and there.
