An excellent Victorian period chest of drawers in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from round 1860-1880.
The quality is fantastic, with a solid top, wonderful turned handles, plinth base on small bun feet and fine dovetailed joints in the drawers.
It is a great size, the lower drawer is built into the plinth base for extra depth.
We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. There various old small marks here and there commensurate for age, and a lovely overall patina.
Please don’t confuse this with the many poorer quality similar looking chests, that are more light weight & normally have splits & warps.
