This chest is very high quality, dating from around the 1860-80’s period & has all the typical Victorian features for this period, with a solid mahogany top, rounded corners, mahogany bun handles & a plinth base. It’s a very compact & practicable piece of furniture with no wasted space. The drawers have locks & are graduated in depth.
