Large antique Victorian burr walnut chest of drawers of extremely fine quality & with a lovely rich colour, dating to around the 1860’s period. It has a solid walnut top, rounded corners & very deep drawers. The bottom drawer is extra deep, because it is attached to the plinth base. All the drawers have turned bun handles, locks & fine dovetails. There is a wonderful burr walnut pattern running through all the drawer fronts & on the rounded corners. This chest of drawers has plenty of character & loads of storage space. Large Victorian chests of drawers of this quality in burr walnut are very rare these days.
