A beautifully and very fine quality antique walnut writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1920 period.

The proportions are lovely and this is extremely well made. The burr walnut has a gorgeous colour and exquisite grain patterns. There is deep and intricate carving on the knees, the drawers are solid oak lined with fine dovetailed joints. This is also nicely polished on the back so can be used as a free standing item.

The leather is hand coloured and gold tooled, it is also of great quality. We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
