This antique mahogany George IV desk dating from the 1820-30’s period, is fabulous quality, with some fine details & is in great condition.

It has a tooled leather writing surface, with a reeded top & bottom edge. All the drawers have original locks & brass handles, which are top quality. The locks are stamped “Hobbs & Co. London” & the brass handles are very finely cast. There is a double dining drawer on the right hand side which looks like two separate drawers.

One of the many wonderful features of this desk are the very fine hand dovetails, especially on the middle drawer, so please enlarge all the images to appreciate this feature along with all the others.

This desk sits on turned & reeded legs, which have original brass cupped casters.
