This antique Georgian style mahogany bureau has a lovely detailed writing compartment & the unusual feature of a bar across the slope to support paper sheets or something else. It’s in good condition & I would date it to the 1950’s period. The interior has a tooled leather writing surface, a curved central cupboard, shaped front drawers & various compartments. The outside front has some lovely flame mahogany patterns. The drawers have original brass handles & escutcheons.
