Right now there are a matching pair of bedside chests on the site to go with this piece & they would all go well together in the same room. This mahogany secretaire chest of drawers is antique military style & dates from around the 1950’s period. The condition is great & it’s just been polished. There’s a tooled leather insert on the top which has lovely character & a matching colour leather writing surface inside the secretaire compartment, which also has three small drawers & compartments. This chest has brass corner fittings, brass carrying handles & brass miltary style handles on the drawers. All the brass work is naturally aged & the drawer fronts are cross banded on the edges.
