Antique Georgian period mahogany pedestal partners desk in good original condition & dating from around the 1790-1820’s period. The leather writing surface was on this desk when we got it, so it might be original. It’s a lovely warm colour & has wonderful tooling patterns. The front section has graduated drawers all with locks & brass handles. The drawers are flame mahogany, finely dovetailed & oak lined. The back section has two flame mahogany panelled cupboards & three more drawers at the top. The pedestals sit on bracket feet & the desk lifts apart into three sections for easy transportation. This desk has great proportions, being not too large for a partners desk, so will fit in many areas.
