A charming original antique Georgian period writing table / desk in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around 1790’s period.

It is a lovely and compact size, sitting on elegant yet sturdy legs. The inset leather top is gold tooled and hand coloured, this is nicely finished on the back so can be used as a free standing item. There is a single drawer with an original brass handle, and fine hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in fantastic condition for its age. There are various signs of old wear here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
