A stunning antique burr elm writing bureau in the Georgian style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.

The quality is outstanding, this is extremely well made with stunning burr elm grain patterns. Inside the pull down section, the interior has a curved shape, with small drawers, compartments, a central cupboard & a tooled leather writing surface. The drawers below are graduated in depth. This bureau sits on bracket feet and has wonderful brass handles.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
