A stunning & elegant antique writing table/ desk in yew wood. This is in the classic Sheraton style, it was made in England, and dates from around the 1930’s.

This is extremely well made and has many fine features. The workspace has a lovely inset tooled leather writing surface, with two drawers below and three above. The back has a raised pie crust gallery, the top and drawer fronts are beautifully cross banded. This sits on fluted kick out legs with a curved stretchered base. The back is nicely polished so this can be used as a free standing item, the drawers have lovely original brass handles and have fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age with stunning grain patterns and a gorgeous patina.
