A large and impressive antique pedestal desk in mahogany. This was made by Beresford & Hicks & dates from around the 1930-1950’s.
The quality is amazing, this sits on lovely shaped bracket feet, has canted corners and an original three section tooled leather top. The original brass handles are also of lovely quality, and this has a double depth lower filing drawer on the right hand pedestal. There are also two pull out slides that come out from above the top two side drawers & all the drawers have locks. This is beautifully finished on the back as well so is designed to be free standing. It comes apart in three pieces for ease of transport.
We have recently had this re-polished to a high standard, the condition is excellent for its age. There are just minor signs of wear beneath the polish here and there, this has a lovely patina.
