A top quality antique mahogany military campaign style pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

It is very well made, with a useful and smart design. The mahogany as a lovely colour tone, there is high quality brass hardware throughout, including inset military brass handles, carry handles on the sides and corner pieces. There is a brass rim around the top and this has an inset brown leather writing surface with tooled edges. The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
