An impressive and very well made antique Victorian mahogany leather top pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around 1880-1900.

It is of excellent quality, with a beautiful hand coloured gold tooled leather top. There are high quality original brass handles, the drawers have fine hand cut dovetailed joints. It has a reeded top edge & reeded front sides. The sides and back are panelled, this is nicely polished on the back so can be used as a free standing item.

This desk has a very generous kneehole width & a large working area on the top.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
