A fantastic original Victorian period writing table in solid mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is a very useful size and is of superb quality. The inset green leather top is gold tooled and hand coloured, it contrasts beautifully with the mahogany. There are beautifully turned handles and legs, and the drawers are solid wood lined with fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The mahogany has a gorgeous rich colour tone and lovely patina.
