A charming antique Victorian writing table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is a lovely size, fairly small and compact with a good sized working surface. The inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, there is a single drawer beneath the top with turned mahogany handles. The legs are beautifully turned and elegant, with a cross frame stretcher for extra support.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are various small marks and bumps here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
