A superb antique Victorian mahogany writing table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-80’s.

The quality is fantastic and this is a very useful size. The solid mahogany top has an inset leather writing surface which is hand coloured and gold tooled. This sits on bold turned solid mahogany legs terminating in original brass casters. The back is also nicely polished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this completely re-polished, the condition is excellent for it age. There are various old signs of wear beneath the polish, this has acquired a beautiful patina over the years.
