A charming and very well made antique Victorian mahogany leather top writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

The quality is fantastic, this is a useful and compact size. It sits on beautifully turned solid mahogany legs terminating in porcelain casters. The drawers have lovely turned mahogany handles and this has a gorgeous inset leather writing surface.

We have had this re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There is plenty of patina and some historical wear beneath the polish, adding to the overall charm.
