An excellent original antique Victorian mahogany leather top writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around 1860-1880.

It is of great quality and is a lovely size. The inset green leather top is beautifully hand coloured and gold tooled. This has brass ring pull handles, and is embellished with lovely carving at the edges of the knee hole. It stands on beautifully turned baluster legs terminating in porcelain casters.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is fantastic for its age. There is just some minor wear beneath the polish here and there. This has a gorgeous overall patina and colour tone.
