This antique early Victorian mahogany writing table is in very good condition & is full of character, with a nice patina. It has the look of a ‘Gillows’ piece with the elegant proportions & reeded turned legs on brass cupped porcelain casters. This desk has a tooled leather writing surface, with two drawers below which have turned handles & fine dovetails & I would date it to around the 1840’s period.
