A large and beautiful antique early Victorian period partners writing desk in solid mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around 1840-1860.

It is of superb quality and is a great size, this is finished identically back and front, with three drawers on each side. The drawers have original brass handles with fine hand cut dovetailed joints. The solid mahogany legs are very thick and sturdy, sitting on original brass casters.

The inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, this has plenty of work space.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
