An excellent antique Victorian leather top writing table, beautifully made from mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from the 1860’s period.

It is of superb quality, with solid mahogany construction throughout. There are beautifully turned handles and legs, the back is also nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item. The inset greenish brown leather is also of super quality, it is gold tooled and has a stunning patina. The drawers have fine hand cut dovetailed joints, and this sits on lovely original brass casters.

We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
