A charming and very well made antique Victorian period writing table / desk in solid walnut. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880’s.

It is a lovely, compact size and is of super quality. The walnut has a beautiful colour tone and wonderful patina, the drawers have turned solid walnut handles and fine hand cut dovetailed joints. This sits on beautifully turned solid walnut legs, terminating in original porcelain casters. The back is also nicely polished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

The inset green leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled. We have had this completely re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are various minor marks and bumps here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age, so please enlarge all the images.
