A superb antique Victorian walnut pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1880-1900 period.

It is of outstanding quality, it is extremely well made and sturdy. This has a serpentine shaped front, with high quality brass handles, the pedestals sit on plinth bases. The drawers are solid oak inside, with fine hand cut dovetailed joints & locks. The walnut has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The back is also nicely polished, so this can be used as a free standing item.
